In 2006, the Sinai Urban Health Institute published a report that showed a growing black: white breast cancer mortality gap in Chicago. The alarming results of this study lead to the creation of the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force. The Task Force today acts as a catalyst to address this health injustice. We leave no stone unturned, working collaboratively with our community to ensure that every woman has an equal chance at life when it comes to breast cancer.
