The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP)

Breast and cervical cancer screenings are free to all uninsured women in Illinois. Very low cost treatment is available to most women through this program. This program was expanded in 2007 and now more women than ever before can take advantage of the free screenings and very low cost treatment. Even if you have already been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer, you may receive very low cost treatment if you qualify.

You may be able to receive free screenings if you are a woman:
• Living in Illinois
• Without insurance
• Over 35 (younger women with symptoms are also eligible)
To qualify for very low cost treatment you must be:
• Diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer
• Living in Illinois
• Without insurance
• A US citizen or a qualified legal immigrant
How do I apply for benefits through the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program?
• To enroll in IBCCP, women can call the Women's Health Line

• The Women's Health Line will be able to walk women through the eligibility requirements and the screening process.
• Women can also contact their local IBCCP agency and schedule an appointment

Stand Against Cancer Program (SAC)

Stand Against Cancer Program: The Stand Against Cancer Initiative is a state-funded project involving Illinois churches, community groups, and medical organizations. The aim of this collaboration is to provide breast and cervical cancer screening for all women, particularly those who are unable to receive treatment due to racial and economic hurdles. American Cancer Society (ACS)

A Silver Lining Foundation (ASLF)

A Silver Lining Foundation: Provides women (and men) access to a free screening mammogram and follow up diagnostic testing.
