Join Our Effort
The Task Force is working in many different ways to improve access to the best quality breast care for all women in Metropolitan Chicago. We cannot do this alone and so we encourage you to join our efforts to save women's lives!

JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN
The state's program, the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) is dramatically underfunded and currently only serving between 1 in 10 to 1 in 8 eligible uninsured women.
Today, the state has already put 12 lead agencies (5 in Chicago) on priority status - meaning they can not provide screening mammograms to women. They are putting women on a waiting list and delaying their access to mammograms This is unacceptable!
For FY13, the state has proposed to cut IBCCP by $3 Million which would disproportionately affect women of color.
Sign our petitions to urge the Illinois General Assembly to:
(1) call on Governor Quinn today at 312- 814-2121 and request to transfer at least $5 million into IBCCP immediately; and
(2) Urge Governor Quinn to fund IBCCP in his FY13 budget at $25 million minimum
