Celebrating Life Gala - Fighting for tomorrow, today!

Saturday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
This year's Celebrating Life Gala, Fighting for Tomorrow, Today! honors the memory of Dr. Steve Whitman, whose groundbreaking work on racial disparities in healthcare led to the establishment of the Task Force. Dr. Whitman hated racism in all its forms and his vision that equity in health care is a human right continues to guide the Task Force's efforts. We have made great strides in improving access and quality of breast health services, but our fight is not over. Your contributions allow us to fight today for a better tomorrow!

Also being honored is the Sinai Health System for its decades long work to reduce healthcare disparities and State Senator Mattie Hunter and State Representative Mike Smiddy for their efforts to pass breast cancer legislation.
